Homo Digitalis Inaugural Even

From December 4th to 6th, 2023, the University College of Logos in Tirana took center stage as it hosted the inaugural event heralding the commencement of the Homo Digitalis project. This ground-breaking initiative, a key component of the ERASMUS+ programme, brought together a consortium of Higher Education Institutions from across Europe and the Western Balkans, with representatives from nine participating universities.


The opening day unfolded with welcoming remarks from project Coordinator Prof. Konstantinos Giakoumis, who offered a brief introduction to himself, his team, and the overarching objectives and goals of the Homo Digitalis project. Each Consortium partner, provided concise presentations about their respective institutions.
On the second day saw discussions of within the Quality Monitoring Committee, covering topics related to Quality Monitoring Action Plan and the Quality Management Committee. The collaborative endeavours of all partners laid a robust foundation for the success of the Homo Digitalis project. This event marked the inception of a noteworthy educational venture in the realm of Digital Humanities, showcasing the unwavering commitment of Higher Education institutions from across the Western Balkans, but also the EU to nurturing excellence in ERASMUS+ projects.
